The Good Life Village
According to an African saying, it takes a whole village to raise a child. However, people are now increasingly living in cities, and – as has been shown – social interaction is also very important to people and their way of life here. It has been proven that the amount and quality of social contact have a significant impact on well-being.
TPA begleitet seit vielen Jahren die CG Gruppe, um als Innovationstreiber aus Megatrends künftige Nutzeransprüche zu antizipieren, Potenziale zu heben und Mehrwerte zu schaffen.
TPA has been assisting the CG Gruppe for many years, so that – as a driver of innovation – it can identify user demands from mega trends, realise potential and create added value.
However, life in the city has become increasingly lonely. What if there were a place where things are different, where people know and greet one another, where the focus is on all aspects of mindfulness and quality of life, where there is space for us and for everybody? This would be like a village in the city – and, perhaps, the future of urban living.
Large windows offer views of a vibrant courtyard. Part of the roofscape that encompasses the courtyard is accessible to the public. People from different backgrounds and from all layers of society live here together.
The integrated commercial areas include health services, art and cultural offerings, shops and restaurants. There are open spaces, community rooms and an authentic, multigenerational neighbourhood – in short, the blueprint for a good life. And there are professionals to look after the children here.

Healing Architecture
The WHO no longer defines health as the absence of illness but as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being.
At the same time, more focus has been placed on the significance of this feeling for people, as health has become a way of life. Studies show that the concept of healing architecture can play a major role in improving individual well-being. Healing architecture includes the prevention of behaviour that may be potentially harmful to health as well as promoting an active approach to looking after one’s health.
Environmentally friendly and low-pollutant materials, intelligent daylight concepts and natural ventilation are just the beginning.
In the development of modern properties, additional factors need to be taken into account that go beyond the conventional image of healthy living – a few brightly coloured areas and a nice view. Health is an activity that is facilitated by the creation and design of living space and business: with more sophisticated architecture, more flexible ways of living and more attention on soft factors for positive living, thus ensuring a 360° sense of well-being.
We would be happy to explain how the concept of healing architecture comes about, how you can use it to enhance your project and what all of this has to do with ‘bungalow knee’.
